Scott is the current owner and personally leads and services Boyer Insurance Services. He helps people understand Medicare and helps small businesses navigate employee benefits.
Scott graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1996 with a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business. After a year at a human resources firm in Santa Monica, he joined his father’s practice, bringing technological and managerial skills. His experience centers on senior insurance products and small-group health benefits.
Outside work, Scott enjoys basketball, tennis, hiking with his dog, and writing young adult adventure novels.
The relationship is the starting point: understand the situation, explain the relevant considerations and stay available as needs change.
Our foundation
Ron Boyer founded the agency in 1969 around personal relationships, straightforward guidance and long-term service.
Ron is now retired. Today, Scott carries that approach into the second generation, focusing on Medicare and Employee Benefits for clients throughout California.
